Caution urged in Uregulated Osteopaths at Stability Osteopathy


Too many stories - Too little space. The bottom line: would you actually trust someone with no actual credentials - wait - let's be correct here - would you actually trust someone who is knowingly running a scam with fake credentials with your health? No one at Stability Osteopathy has a real Osteopathy degree. All fake and they know it. When something goes wrong - do you actually even have a legal claim?

Matt Gibbons is nothing more than a basic personal trainer (with no kinesiology degree - just a weekend course to become "certified") who did a fake degree online. He is not qualified to do anything but that. The Chiropractor Who Isn't

Dr. Andrea Hogan probably took 3-4 years to get a degree in Health Education from Dalhousie University and another 4 years to go to Chiropractic school. But somehow she gets another university degree in Osteopathy in a few months (online of course). Anything odd about this? For some reason you can't use your chiropractic insurance to see her (i.e. she can't bill you as a chiropractor). You don't need a real university degree to see that someone very suspicious is happening here.

The Wolves Monitoring the Sheep - fake "doctor" Gibbons as President of the Newfoundland and Labrador Osteopathy Association

Well here's a good one. Fake doctor and Osteopath Matt Gibbons is actually the president of the Newfoundland and Labrador Osteopathy Association. So when you file a complaint with the association about him, he's the one who receives the email! So what do you think actually happened when we filed a complaint? No response, no call - nothing.   He just simply buried his head in the sand. I guess we can't blame him. He doesn't really have a way to defend himself. It's not like he has integrity, a professional association and strong credentials to stand buy.
